btw- they didn't start paying $500 a set until about six mo. ago (post GG rise) and even then they might only buy one set a year from the girl..wow $500 and a 30 year exclusive contract..they must really care about the models

Ditto on these statements. Most of the sets get declined anyway for not being whatever it is that they want. Sometimes no reason is given or they aren't pink enough or whatever it is that they want. I know this first hand as I know a shooter who has submitted several times, mostly accepted and sometimes declined. $500 to the model and what does the photographer get? Answer: a by-line. They'd be lucky to get two sets up/year as they are so backlogged, they cant approve the sets fast enough anyway. Most of the models are retarded too, I've tried to work with a few and they are mostly headcases. Probably some good apples in the bunch, but if I find out they are SG girls, I give the work to someone else.
