I will have to find the original email, but I have a price list from four months ago or so listing $150 for oral, $200 for a sex scene, and $250 for anal for website work.

It is from her AOL address. Kinda sad, but if you check her AOL homepage it is dated a year earlier and announces some engagement and moving away and the like--funny how things change.

Currently in So. Cal, I keep hearing $100-$150 as standard for oral and not much more for sex. I know girls both new and old who are actively soliciting work tell me that these are the $ figures they hear all the time.

And it keeps getting lower--what girls will do it for mostly dictates what people pay.

Makes me think I grossly overpaid when I started out...

I also have noticed that by spending 10 minutes on the phone with a model, being polite, and if she is new, mentioning there is no pressure to shoot whatever she isn't comfortable with, makes the prices drop DRAMATICALLY.

It has gotten to the point I have most willing to do solo posed shots as a straight trade or content split, or for a very low flat fee.

Most days, my promo and admin work is done by 11am, so I have no problem spending a decent amount of time to talk to a potential model. From what I have been told (and would naturally assume), this is not the norm. I will maybe decide to shoot 1 in 5, and some back out or change their mind, but I would rather take that approach than paying double to not have made them feel at ease.

Sadly, I get calls from lots of "experienced" girls who have worked for quite a few sites, and they tend to come towards the end of the month.

When rent is due, you wouldn't believe the bargain basement priced offers I get. I don't even answer my phone then--it is just not a good scene.

Maybe Taylor raised her rates back up, but she seems to be on almost every site in the pro-am circuit--not sure exactly what the value would be for someone to shoot her when she has done it all already, everywhere else.

It is nothing even against her, it is just the nature of the biz. I keep trying to explain that to new girls who contact me, but if you get overexposed (no pun intended) you lose most value rather fast.

Unless you get mainstream video work, no girl can make a month to month living in this biz modelling in front of the camera--not unless she does her own site and has a piece of the profit.

It would be wise for someone like Taylor to retire from shooting elsewhere, do her own site now where she is exclusive, and not only make money from memberships, but by linking to the content she has shot and earning a lucrative backend % in affiliate referrals.
