Sorry I'm late to the thread, but I just wanted to point out a couple of major glaring flaws in the whole Jesus concept. First of all, there are records of a man named Jesus born in the area when Christianity's Jesus was born. The problem here is, there were dozens of them...Jesus was a very popular name at the time. Secondly, the story of Jesus is little different than that of Horus. There's also a "Messiah" about a century after Jesus with a very similar story (I don't remember the name). And finally, anyone who knows their history knows that the various holidays regarding Christianity were copied from older religions, which is a whole other ball of wax entirely. Why would we be looking at December 25th as the "birth of Christ" yet not a specific day in the year for the "death of Christ"? How does that make any sense at all? When we look at death records, they always mention a specific date, even for deaths that predate Jesus' supposed death. So why is it that no one knows his real date of death, but instead relates it to this one particular Sunday? Oh wait, that's right...because they needed an Ostare cover-up holiday. Shit man, I used to get in trouble for asking these logical questions as a kid. It's no wonder I grew up to detest religion when the people who trumpet this stuff can't even answer a simple question.
