Deportation, fines and taking your equipment... Thats not a HUGE penalty if you don't keep all or your content on you. Think about it, if he has been shooting there for a year, he has made a killing off of his time there. I'm sure the benifit vs. risk was well worth it, as long as that's all that happens. However, if he has to spend time in jail over there (more than a few days or weeks) than it's a different story. Just my 2 cents.

Oh yea, and as long as they don't get fried when they return home.
