Anyways, I havent heard a Canadian say aboot ever, but have heard several americans say it. Its almost sad when americans say it to a canadian thinking they are funny.

You don't hear it cos you say "aboot" but you think you saying "about".. I don't think I heard ANY Canadian ever not say aboot (mind it does not exactly sound aboot more like "abowt" or something) it's like a lot of the times when people can't smell their own farts
