There's a pretty good likelyhood it was someone at the hotel, a friend of mine manages a rather well known hotel in toronto where they quietly fired an IT manager for hacking into bank accounts that were accessed from the hotels network awhile back. Sadly the hotels are usually more interested in protecting their reputations than reporting these people to the cops.
