I've done over 2000 men without condoms, and probably another 900 with rubbers in the past 10 years. If one in three sexually active adults had herpes I would have caught it by now about 500 times already. Truth is, I never caught any STD. I'm not a medical doctor, but I'm pretty sure it's much more difficult to catch herpes and thus very rare if there's not an active outbreak. If the skin is clean of sores, I believe your chances are very low.
