A friend wanted my opinion on something, I told him I might be able to get him more information.

He has a credit card debt which is so past due it's gone to an attorney and he is about to be taken into court, and persumably have a judgment against him.

Th lawyer wants all of it upfront, no payments. What are his options? He doesnt want to file BK.
