Drug use is a public health issue, not a criminal matter
If drug abuse is a crime, then alcoholics should be jailed too. Heroin addicts have methadone clinics to keep them loaded. Why not just jail every person who is addicted to anything?
There is no need to argue with these people, theyll never understand.

I UNDERSTAND everything your saying, I just don't AGREE 100% with what your saying. It's not an argument either, were all just voicing our opinions. There's a lot of ways to look at it. I agree in the fact that it's a public health issue, but it's definitely a criminal matter too. When the addicts start to steal, kill, or do whatever else it takes to get money or substance to feed their addiction, it becomes a huge criminal matter. That's when they should be arrested. I don't think they should be arrested just for using. And you're right, it's the same thing with alcohol. You shouldn't be arrested for drinking, but when you drink and put innocent people in danger that's a problem. I'm not saying I'm right, your right, or anybody's right. It's just my views.
