Tipping is not mandatory it's called a tip for a reason.

People concern themselves not only in this case, but in others, with what a bunch of strangers you will most likely never see again think.

I don't.

Sure I go there a lot, but if I had him again as a waiter, I would just ask to be sat somewhere else. On the other hand, for those who provide excellent service, get me refills before I ask, and we do not have to ask for ketchup, A1, etc necause they come prepared. They get a 25%+ tip easily.

If i get good service, even when by myself, I will tip $5 on a $10 meal.

But when the service sucks ass, I make sure I get the point across. It's called a gratuity for a reason. I have bad days also, and if I do not do good work, I do not get paid.
