interesting topic and i've been reading intelligent dashboard design (o'reilly) lately. the key really is to integrate data smartly and eliminate unnecessary imagery to present lots of data and options in an easy to digest way. the dashboard is better for the data presentations than as the homepage design imo too, but as with all commercial affiliate sites such as avnads, all customers care about is the size of their checks and getting paid accurately.
