Backup software for PC
Had a small scare this morning with one of our customer service guys computers. It froze on him and when he went to restart it wouldnt boot up. Ive stressed before to back stuff up, but you know how that goes... its 5:59 and you dont want to spend the next 10 minutes backing up your stuff, you'd rather leave. I dont blame them tho, its not their company.
So I had the owner of the company buy a server a while back as an internal server and to set up a daily backup cron on all the computers and the site to backup locally, but nothing ever got done. Meanwhile, I have a server at my house that I would like to do the same thing with for my personal stuff.
Any suggestions of what kind of software or how to set it up? Basically just to install some app on each computer in the network and at a given time during the day, it takes whatever directories (i.e. My Docs, My Pictures, etc) on the local machine and transfers those directories/files to the server.
