I know of that script, but don't remember much about it so I don't know what is similiar enough for you.
Anyhow, I would take a look at JMB's
TGP Rotator if you plan to use only your own and / or sponsor hosted galleries or
Auto Gallery SQL if you plan on taking submissions.
One beauty of TGPR is that you can pretty much and unlimited amount of sites with it as long as they are on the same server.
