So I ended up on support with this hot sounding rep from Apple named Ashley. Shes sending me 2x1GB sticks of Ram and says just to keep the shit that the tech replanted in my computer. She gave me her extention so that if the computer still seems to be underperforming after I switch it out with the appropriate ram, I can call her and they'll offer me something to try and keep me as a satisfied customer. I'm ok with that.
