You don't have to be pro trained at MMA to know who has a chance to win and who dosen't. Read the following post, especially the end of it before commentating.
I've seen all of prides fights (without any exception, skips or fast forwards) since pride 1.
I've seen most recents fights (last 2-3 years) in the UFC and tons from other organisation. Attented to lots of events live too.
Anybody saying that Lidell will win hands down is one of theses uneducated fans that go with crowd favorites because they watch a freak show instead of a sport(ufc votes sometimes are just the opposite of the betting odds). Tons of people talking about shit they don't know.
I've been following what goes arround in the sports and watching what goes on behind the scenes, unlike most people here.
And here is what I base my judgement on :
1 - Dana White comentated on Lidell's prestation on the morning show after the Randy fight. The one where Chuck was barley able to sleep and felt asleep. (can be seen on youtube, interviewed by sherdog.com)
He said : Lidell has been VERY sick for the last few months. His people aren't supporting him and he refuses to see someone. He called lidell's team dumb asses if i recall right.
2 - Rampage has the best boxing defence in MMA (my opinion)
3 - Lidell's style haven't changed all that much since that fight with rampage. He needs a damn good game plan to beat him.
Page has been knocked out twice, two of most incredible knockouts in the MMA history. Everyone knows it takes a lot of time to get back to full force when something like that happens. He took it and now he's ready.
He haven't been through any serious injuries lately
Now all the guys saying that Lidell will win have to bring me a damn good argument... Lidell didn't improve that much if you ask me... maybe his ground defence.
