Rampage outboxed him, out grappled him and grounded and pounded better then him. Total domination... for 7 minutes.
It was the first really big Pride VS UFC fight and the last once since Dana had to throw in the towel agaisn't a pride B+ fighter. |
I think he's right. I'd love to be proved wrong, but I think Liddell is a far better fighter than he was when he fought Rampage all that time ago. Jackson seems to have plateaued. Look at thier records since then.
Jackson; a decision to win over Dong Sik Yoon, 2 losses to Wanderlei, a loss to Mauricio Rua, with wins over Lindland, Eastman, split decision win over Murilo Rua.
Liddell; 2 KO's over Randy Couture, TKO over Jeremy Horn, TKO over Renato Sobral, TKO over Tito Ortiz, and a KO over Vernon White.
7 Straight victories. All tough, tough opponents.
While I agree Jackson is a great fighter and I'd like to see him win, I don't personally see it happening.
