i am 36. i have fought quite a few traffic tickets just for fun, including a couple accidents where i truly believed i was in the right, yet got a ticket for the accident. it was always comical sitting in the court room listening to people... seeing their attitudes, what they think they are entitled to, what they think is "right" and "wrong" etc.
totally weird seeing some kid dressed as a retarded gang banger, sitting in court doing everything possible to be disrespectful... and see that he truly believes that he is just gonna show up, tell the judge whats what... and walk out of their like the bad ass that he thinks he is.... then some 1/2 retarded redneck, late and still drunk from the night before, pull the same shit... then see the same guy after him is the same... same guy after that.. the same etc.
its kinda sad in a way. it really made me understand after the first time at 18, why there are poor people, why so many people are in jail. it made me understand why there are economic classes and why certain groups of people always end up at the bottom... and how they can't really be helped because their own attitude is whats destroying their lives.
