Hi, this is my first time here. I was told about this forum by another webmaster that is a member. I am selling my site and he has bought and sold from here and said there may be an interest.
I have to sell freaknfunny. I would like to try it as an auction with the bidding starting at $15,000. I have a reserve price that will have to be met. Let me give some info on the site.
The site went live July of 2005. Currently averages 25,000 uv a day with very little advertising. Averages 7 pv per user. I have freaknfunny.com registered with network solutions until April 2011. The past couple months the site earns a profit of $2,500 a month. Last year when I had more time to give to it, I was making 4 & 5k a month profit. Custom backend that I had built. Site has both sfw and nsfw content but no sex. Over 16,000 pictures, over 1200 videos, over 100 games, news section updated by RSS feed daily, confessions page, contest page, polls page and a jokes page. I send out a daily newsletter that currently has over 1400 double opt in members. Sedo appraised just the domain name at $7,500. The site is done in coldfusion and the programmer I work with will help with transfer and help new owner if they need it. I use azoogle, adbrite, avn ads, fling, active response group, heavy and sell a few banner spots from time to time.
