It is an entirely new operating system, and as such, there will be limitations and things missing while the slack, slow, and stupid third party companies get around to writing drivers and such. I know, example, that my personal laser printer (Brother) won't make the vista cut because it is a weird off model (Canada only) and isn't well supported even with XP at times. I can make it work (using a driver for a similar printer, but I won't get all the features), but I guess I can just go out and spend $100 for a new one.

Give it a couple of months, and most of the slackers (except Apple) will have caught up.
I am sure in a few months most companies will have fixes and new drivers, but what bugs me the most is not only have they had 1,5 years to prepare themselves (since vista became beta), but if I did this to my clients (MPA3, MAS, VIST, etc.) and had them wait for months before issuing a fix to a DEAD software or similar, well fuck, I would be out of business!

So shame on the companies that have yet to issue drivers for their products for VISTA and shame on Microsoft for not being more on the ball on this.
