Um... you need to think outside the box chief. All this "bullshit" you refer to is PC corporate America doing the C.Y.A. to keep from being sued.

If you were fired from XYZ company, and there was an announcement you were fired, and why you were fired, then most companies in this biz would probably never hire you. You in turn would then cry foul, and sue them for ruining your reputation, and livilyhood. Now you see?

By the same token, a lot of the laws in the country (vary by state) do not allow past employers to disclose more than the date you were hired, left, and would you hire them again. That's it.

While I see your point sport, there are reasons, or better, a method to the madness.
