When I worked in telco (Ameritech/SBC/TDS) for the better part of a decade, the press releases or announcements when the higher ups left were always similar with the 'bigger better things', along with wishing them well.

exactly. just keep in mind will has spent his whole life in front of the computer and wants to forgo sleep in order to spend more time on it. so you have to forgive him for not having a good grasp of reality outside of his bedroom.
