I saw the movie too last night. I was hearing how great it was so decided to check it out. It was well done yes but if you've seen Braveheart or Gladiator you've pretty much seen 300. It's pretty much, hero leads army through vicious battle while the love of his life back home gets fucked with 101, but not half as good as BH/Glad. If you get excited by cartoonish special effects then yeah the movie is great. If you like a great plotline, just close your eyes and remember Braveheart/Gladiator while you wait for 300 to go to dvd.
