When rendering or encoding from an editing timeline like from Premiere Pro or Vegas to a finished format like wmv, one can generally only make one output at a time, that's it. The advantage of outputting a standard def movie from the editing timeline first to a DV AVI file and then in Cleaner XL or Procoder to the finished formats is that you can set it to encode to multiple formats and frame sizes overnight while you sleep, not just one. Plus one can add a watermark at the correct sizes at that stage. There also may be minor differences in the quality depending on the settings that you choose.
