this industry has ALWAYS been its own worst enemy. it attracts the exact wrong kind of people who will organize, lead or follow. for the most part, its scammers and thieves, perverts, or people with major issues with authority that can't work a normal job if they wanted to.
a part of me wants to care. but a bigger part of me believes its futile. in some ways i feel selfish for feeling that way... but the reality is that most of the money made in this biz, is by people that just don't care about anyone else or the industry. i've been in this biz since 97 and can say with absolute confidence, that the vast majority of people who are thought to care or "be totally stand up guys" just haven't been caught or outed for the shit they pull.
i started doing more and more in mainstream... and you know what? its been quite liberating.
