The point is it is an experiment in advertising. Those that are open to taking a chance will reap the benfits and rewards of that.
First, tell me how many promotions are EVERYWHERE? No-one can be at every convention. It's about generating buzz, plain and simple, and the more people that are on board, the more buzz happens.
Second, it's not just benefitting me. You DO know what promotion is right? The very nature OF this website is to help webmasters better their products, and promoting is how you get people to know your brand.

Also, this isn't begging, it's advertising and bulding a better business. Your company gets website traffic from the website and brand promotion from the logo on the notebook, and I get a machine to edit video on faster. It benefits all those involved.
But I do appreciate your thoughts on it, that's why I wanted to hear them in the thread!
