coolers hugely extend your hard drive life span .. and laptops are the worst for being on your just that ..lap with the fan being blocked or your body temp keeping them hot .. usually on a desk is alright .. but if you leave it on all the time you will find it the best investment for the life of your comp ..plus it keeps my nuts nice and chilled ..
