Tell the model how much you'll pay. Don't let her dictate to you what you're going to pay her. Tell her, "here's what you'll be paid... take it or leave it" but say it in a nice way so that it doesn't become a challenge.
I usually get by the "no toys" rule by telling them they're an actress filling a part and that toys aren't much bigger than the tampons they put inside themselves every month. That works about 90% of the time.
