Oh man, has this thread taken a turn for the funny.
For every sponsor that shaves, there are 100 affiliates that cheat and steal. And 1000 surfers that lie and dodge and have figured out the many many ways to get off without paying for it.
It's all about the numbers, there is nothing else to this.
For those of you who've ever taken an economics class and perhaps made at least a C in it, I'll direct you to the Law of Diminishing Returns and the Law of Averages.
These are not pie in the sky suggestions as to why surfers don't stay around, these are concrete proofs of numbers given a certain situation.
Next we'll talk about Poisson Distribution and how it plays a part in all this if you'd like.
