Yes they have done some good when helping other countries, but it is seen as more of a compensation for all the wrongs they have done. I love americans, they are our brother to the south, but even canada gets annoyed at their arrogance and seems to be apologizing for them a great deal when visiting other countries. This from experience.

If that is the case then stop coming into the US and having your surgeries done here. Canadians come here all the time for surgery because Canada has a long waiting list. I thought you guys bragged about great health insurance, but that must be a lie. We get annoyed with Canadians as well. We have nothing to apologize for. We are not a perfect country. We have made mistakes, but really Canada is not a country to talk. What has your country ever really done?
