The USA is a superpower because it has the tax base to afford to be one. That is the only reason. The UK has a population of around 60 million. If it had the land to support a population of 300 million it would also be a superpower of approximately the same strength as the USA. Why? Because it would have the tax base to be able to afford/manufacture all the military hardware you do and would have an army five times the size of its current armed forces.
Note I said first world country, I have no idea why you mentioned China and India. It's probably because you obviously didn't understand the point I was making, which is what I expected. Those paying taxes in China and India are paying nowhere near the amount of taxes those in first world countries are paying because their wages are so much lower.
Face it, there is nothing special about America. The reason you are a superpower is solely because of your population and the tax base it generates. If Canada had 10 times the population they would be a superpower.... If Australia had 15 times the population they would be a superpower.... If Germany had 4 times the population they would be a superpower... is it sinking into your little brainwashed head yet?
