That's where maybe, and I stress maybe because I don't know your life / history don't understand true addiction...when you have an addictive personality and you drop one addiction you are in jeopardy of replacing with another.
Try visiting a AA or NA meeting and you'll see people sucking down cigs and coffee like there is a cure in it.
I'm going through the pre-op procedures for gastric bypass, and because people have food addictions, some people after the operation start drinking and gambling...strange how the mind works.
