1440x1080 is NOT the size of the image you see on your display. The actual size you see on your display is 1920x1080.

You are shooting in 16:9, so your aspect ratio is 16:9 (i.e., all screencaps and videos should have 16:9 (1.777:1) aspect ratio.

There are 1440x1080 pixels, but each pixel is rectangular (i.e., 1.3333:1 or 4:3), NOT square (i.e., 1:1).

This is the huge point you are missing.

The 'true' aspect ratio you see is 1920/1080 == 1.777777. So the 'raw' pixels times the pixel aspect ratio (4:3, or 1.33333:1) should be used to calculate the 'true' pixels number of pixels you see on your display. 1440*1.33333=1920, and 1080*1=1080. So the image size you see is 1920x1080 (which is 16:9).

The title of this thread should have "1920x1080" in it, not "1440x1080". And all the screencaps you've pulled are also incorrect. Isn't that clear from the screencaps you've pulled?

I don't want to spend anymore time explaining this.

Good luck with the site.
