Why they went after Culpepper.. no idea. They have been screwed over in having to be in a constant state of 'rebuilding' for like 6 or so years now
As much as I used to make fun of Robo-Marino he was steady.. they have been hurt at QB forever since... then coaching killed things, drafting hasnt gone their way. I do like the trades too.. but probably within the next 3yrs they will be back up to par I think..get solid young players & maybe some exp. here or there each yr.. Its actually not bad sitting at 9th, they might get lucky & Quinn dropping there.. I'd pick him up.. save money since hes out of the Top5, get a franchise QB.. I mean right now on their roster they have Mathews & Culpepper really.. I dont put much stalk in either personally.

Yeah Wannestedt and Saban really fucked the dolphins up from a front office perspective.
I'm really excited now that Huizenga decided to go with a GM/Head Coach combo instead of giving one guy total control. Randy Mueller has a great track record as a GM in both the draft and trades, so I'm really stoked to see what he'll do now that he has total control of personnel.
They'll definitely take Quinn if he falls to #9, although I think most people aren't giving Culpepper enough credit. However I don't see Quinn falling that far. They really need a franchise left tackle, but Levi Brown would be a reach at #9..if they're lucky they can trade back a couple of spots with someone trying to snag LaRon Landry or that wide receiver Ginn Jr and pick up an extra pick and get the left tackle around the 12-15 spot.
