exactly. i am sure oil had something to do with it as well but I think our govt has information that none have access to. I bet they can see where things are heading over there. Iraq is right in the middle of it all. Perfect place to have a big foothold. Knowing that somethign is going to have to be done with Iran, and possibly a few of the other middle eastern countries we are setting our chess pieces in place now getting ready for what I think is the inevitable. I feel the govt is going to pull the trigger sooner or later before Iran is capable of hitting any of us with nukes or giving the nukes to terrorist to use against us.
Do you idiots really sit back and think Bush did this so his buddies could get rich with oil or haliburton could get some contracts ??? I am sure that was not the reason to do this, they did what they did because they are trying to protect themselves and us. Sure it just so happened that some of them benefited from it, but i think that was an after the fact thing and not the reason for doing it. It's not like they can come out and tell the public, ok we going to take iraq because we feel we going to have to take iran in the next 10 years because they will have nukes soon. yeah not only would the liberals and rest of the world scream and cry that is wrong, the democrats would try to empeach Bush, but it would show our hand to the enemy and that wouldn't be good either.
This seems logical to me, but god only knows what the govt really knows, it is information we will never have access to. It is funny that so many average joes thinks they know exactly why the govt does what it does, there is so much info that we likely don't know about.
