Rarely. There are still the occasional sites that use it.
But I stopped using it once it ended up in my tray, slowing shit down with that scheduler, and launching on start up.
ANY non-essential application that loads on start up is out of favor with me quickly. This applies to all messengers as well.
As long as there is an option to toggle it off in their own software like Yahoo, or some of the others. I do not mind AS much. However anything I have to msconfig to remove out of my start up
