I also count my own outgoing traffic with a stats system...Mine is very basic, and probably not working for your amount of traffic
While you(or your pogrammer) is on it...I would advice an GEO IP module...Some sponsors redirect 'foreign' traffic. Better send it to a place where you get actually credit for this 'foreign' traffic...
