No, you're right, I have never met you. I can only judge based on the character you've shown over the years. I could be wrong, but here's what makes me believe you're a coward at heart:

1) Cowardly by actions. You were talking about killing yourself. Either you were too afraid to ask for help or you really thought running away from life was a great escape.

2) Cowardly by thoughts. You spent a great deal of time telling one my good friends about how you've never been a confident person, couldn't talk to girls. This is not the attitude of a self confident person. I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if you met your wife over the Internet.

3) Cowardly by genes. You have French ancestory.
