Its not the first time I hear a non-smoker gets lung cancer. Back in 2000, I was living with a girl that had lung cancer at 13 years old and had to take part of her left lung out. Later on, at 26, she got eusophagus (sp?) cancer... She's doing fine now, so there's always hope.

But I do wonder about that whole cancer thing. I've known many healthy ppl who led a very healthy life ending up dying from cancer before 40 years old... On the other hand you have ppl that smoked and drank all their lives and are still among us at 85. Go figure.

I hope your grandfather will be okay. We never know how things will turn out, dont lose hope!
