If someone choses to only date people who earn less than them, than yes, they would be discriminating, but it would only be because of their fear of being cheated on, which I think justifies this discrimination. Doesn't everyone discriminate to some degree when dating? Some people only date tall people, some only short.. etc
Every person is different of course, but chances are still more likely of someone being MORE likely to cheat if they have more options. If someone has more options than it will be harder for them to turn all those options down.
