I've tried txtmate and it's great for complex directory structure scripts, and I love it's autocomplete functions, but I just can't get out of the BBEdit style - I can't get textmate to highlight functions, strings and stuff, something simple like tab stop vertical lines can't be shown (which I use a lot) and stuff like that.

What I would really like in either texmate or bbedit is the ability to put coding timestamps/checkmarks on scripts and if something goes wrong, roll back to a certain timepoint. Sort of like a self-contained cvs - that would be fantastic. I can't get into the whole cvs thing, so if it was bundled with an app, that would be great!!
