...mostly we do not tell to "read manual", but specify the concrete place in the manual (sometimes with the direct quote right in the response) which answers to the given question. Because in most cases people prefer to ignore manuals at all. However if the problem is in the rare case of lack of understanding the manual - we do our best to explain with examples or by other words. Hope it's quite logical policy.
And let me hope that most important question is that nobody here (now or earlier) said that he DIDN'T get support and necessary assistance
