I see, so when you say "destroying the world", what you really mean is "killing ourselves" since anything we could possibly do to the world wouldn't harm it in the slightest.
Perhaps we can make it uninhabitable for ourselves, but we certainly don't have the power (yet) to go destroying any planets.
