When I do major uploads, I usually just mail my host the discs and they do it. But sometimes I'll just try to do it myself.

But when I do it, I get errors... I think. I use WS-FTP Pro, and on big uploads it says "Failed, error: 451" And when I look at the transfer log in the transfer manager it says "Transferred 1,139,802,237 Size 1,139,802,237"

If the size of the file and the amount transferred is the same... why do I get that error message. According to the WS-FTP site the error is an aborted process on the local machine.

The annoying thing is, when I open FTP again, it'll assume the transfer failed and attempt to re upload the files.

I tried using Cute FTP but I just can't get used to it. Is there an alternative? Or a way to fix this FTP problem?
