A close minded biggot is a close minded biggot. If he wants to feel more secure about himself as a minority by bashing a different minority so be it, but he needs to realize most people that share his opinion of gays, don't have a very high opinion of blacks either. Maybe that would help him to rethink whether or not his position is a clear minded one...............

You have a point about discrimination of gays but comparing it to that of blacks is not right. You do not have to disclose to anyone that you are gay and it's not on your birth certificate. If no one knew I was black until I told them then how could they discriminate against me?
Your drivers license dosen't say "gay", you don't have to put down gay on your job application or school enrollment. Your address does not reveal that you live in a "gay" neighborhood. You don't eat "gay food". Now replace the word "gay" with "black" in the above sentences and then tale me if it is the same.
I think the guy is out of line; but I also believe he would do/say nothing as long as a teammate didn't make his being gay an issue.
