What about people that put on a white hood and march down the street calling blacks no good n1ggers that should be hung? You don't think people should be outraged about that either? You don't think we as a society should continue to denounce their opinions as well?
Of COURSE he has the right to express himself. OF COURSE he has the freedom to believe what he wants.
BUT society has a RESPONSIBILITY to speak out against such bigotry when it's spoken, whether about blacks or gays or any other minority.
Especially when done by a public figure, in a public forum. |
