I am all for an open discussion. I am all for a school program being graphic and detailed. BUT I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT IT IN ADVANCE so I, as a responsible parent, can review the content and either A) remove my child, B) have a pre-discussion wiht my child or C) let the school proceed as planned.
I DONT see why this concept is so difficult to understand. And... who is teaching this class? Their regular teacher? Where did they train to provide this type of eduication? When were they trained how to talk to childreen about explicit sexual acts?

If your involved with the school and talk to them regularly .. you can ask all those questions . I agree with you that you should have the chance to ask all those things and make those choices. I know that i will have a talk with my son before he takes that class and get him ready.
