Think about the differences. 25 years ago we had limited exposure to anythng sexual. If we were lucky, we found dad's penthouse, hustler, oui or swank...maybe a copy of some classic VCX release. Those were magical discoveries. "This is what Indiana Jones must have felt like," I remember thinking. These days, a kid can bring up a video of hardcore anal penetration while he's waiting for a pop tart.
Different times. Hard to compare.

That is true - and one of the reasons why parenting is soo much more difficult today than 25 years ago. But, it still doesn't justify the government deciding what is appropriate and what is not.
I am all for an open discussion. I am all for a school program being graphic and detailed. BUT I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT IT IN ADVANCE so I, as a responsible parent, can review the content and either A) remove my child, B) have a pre-discussion wiht my child or C) let the school proceed as planned.
I DONT see why this concept is so difficult to understand. And... who is teaching this class? Their regular teacher? Where did they train to provide this type of eduication? When were they trained how to talk to childreen about explicit sexual acts?
