We had sex ed in 6th grade. Girls in 1 class boys in the other..
Seems like we watched 1960's old films or something, this was 1980.
I belive strongly in education and talking with your kids about sexual issues, college, etc, etc
Tough for me to accept "oral and anal" talk in the classroom but if it was approved by the school / district welll.... Better for kids to know what's out there, what can happen, std's, prevention, etc this aint the 1960's anymore.
I think back and mabey I started to young, dunno. Kissing and all that at 11-12 and then all the way summer before 7th grade..
I have five daughters, 19-15-14-13 and 5.. We have talked abit about this stuff, better to let your kids know that they can come to you if they have questions or need help, etc. They mostly talk with there mom..
But we are a pro choice family and while alot might not agree with me - my older daughters know (15-14-13) that if they get pregnant, they will be going to the docs for a procedure - as long as they are in HS and in the house...
Do you want to be 16-17 and change diapers, have no life, or goto college, have a career.. God I think I pound that into them...
