I was using a Canon 20D with the 70-200mm 2.8 lens. Keeping it real simple I just set it on the " sport " setting, even in the low light situations, and fired away. For the speed blur effect I just panned with the car. I was only getting about 1 out of 15 shots right but that's all I needed. The Crown Royal car shot I bumped up the saturation in PS to really make the colors pop.
