not sure how it works where you are, but our cable installers get paid $250 to do any extras here, i.e. crawling in the basement or attic crawl space

weekends are always extra money for cable guys, or they are the weekend guys that haven't worked all week

as for the bitching wife, then yeah, tip him $200-300...easy!
